§ Legal / 01 — Terms of Service

Terms of Service

Effective 25 April 2026

1. Who we are

AI Compliance Brief (the "Service") is operated by the publisher of aicompliancebrief.com(the "Publisher", "we", "our"). By accessing the Service or subscribing to a paid plan, you agree to these Terms of Service.

2. The Service

We publish a weekly editorial intelligence brief covering developments in artificial-intelligence regulation across multiple jurisdictions. Briefs are delivered by email and via the subscriber dashboard. We may from time to time issue mid-week alerts for material regulatory events.

3. Editorial Intelligence — Not Legal Advice

The Service is editorial commentary and synthesis. It is not legal advice, and does not create an attorney–client relationship. Subscribers must consult qualified counsel for binding interpretation of any law, regulation, or enforcement matter referenced in the briefs.

4. Subscriptions, Billing & Cancellation

Subscriptions auto-renew monthly at the price displayed at checkout (currently $495/mo for Operator, $1,495/mo for Bureau, and bespoke for Sovereign). You may cancel at any time from your dashboard or by writing to [email protected]. New subscribers may request a full refund within the first 30 days.

Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store full card numbers, CVVs, or expiration dates. See our Privacy Policy for details.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Resell, redistribute, or sublicense brief content without written permission;
  • Use the Service to train competing models, scrapers, or services;
  • Attempt to bypass tier-based access controls.

We grant subscribers a non-exclusive licence to use briefs internally and to forward individual briefs to outside counsel acting on the subscriber's behalf.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". While we use rigorous editorial process, regulatory landscapes change rapidly and no service can guarantee completeness. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied.

7. Limitation of Liability

Our aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the Service shall not exceed the amount paid by you to us in the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.

8. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified by email at least 14 days in advance. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the publisher's home jurisdiction. Disputes shall be resolved by binding arbitration unless otherwise required by applicable law.
